Epsilon member Robbie Stewart, Business Marketing Instructor at Fayetteville High School, was selected as the CTE Teacher of the Year at the recent ACTE Conference in Birmingham. Robbie has been teaching for six years in the Talladega County School system. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama and earned Business Education Certification from Athens State University.
Robbie is married to Alex Stewart and has two sons. She became a member of the Epsilon Chapter of ILS in 2007 and currently serves as Chapter Historian.
The annual summer meeting and initiation of new members was held Monday, July 11, at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center. Fifteen new members were inducted into the chapter. Newly elected officers also were installed. ILS members conducted a fund raising activity that raised almost $1000 for ILS operations. Haley Chapman will be our Scholar of the Year and will be submitted to the Grand Chapter to represent Epsilon Chapter.
The Epsilon Chapter sponsors both student and teacher scholarships. These are funded through member donations. All members are encouraged to participate and help support the scholarships. Send your contributions to Tommy Mosley, ILS Treasurer.

Annual Grand Chapter Meeting
December 3, 2010
Las Vegas, Nevada
The Epsilon Chapter of Iota Lambda Sigma were the recipients of all Grand Chapter Awards presented at the recent annual meeting in Las Vegas. The Epsilon Chapter has won many awards in previous years, but this was the first time to win all awards. Winners were:
- Tiffany Plato – Outstanding Member of the Year
- Tommy Rhodes – Raymond L. Christianson Distinguished Service Award
- Adams Learning Resources LLC – Chapter Business/Industry/Workforce Developer of the Year Award
- Epsilon Chapter – Red Key award for initiating most new members in the year 2010
- Epsilon Chapter – Chapter of the Year Award
During the meeting Epsilon member Tommy Rhodes was installed as the next President of the Grand Chapter Council. Tommy Glasscock, Epsilon President, and Bob Kimbrell, Director, served as delegates to the meeting.
